The check list

This content proves to be exciting as I termed it 'The Check List'. This may sound a little imaginary but it helps. Obviously, check list are list of items necessary for a particular inventory, without this items, an engagement or a mission may not be possible. For example... I need to go on a picnic, I need some items in my picnic basket or probably not necessarily in my basket. I need a mat, a foldable seat, a sandwich, water, a book to read and some other things that I think would be of need to enjoy my picnic on a Saturday at a cool park with my friends or I might want to be alone. From the above I just listed some items I need to have a little time for myself or with my friends. This also goes with some things I need or one needs to establish or discover the prospects one might have been nursing right from time. What this mean is that, if I intend to do something meaningful for myself, I need some necessary things to bring to fulfillment that 'meaningful something...

Beauty of victory

Reflections Just reflections Under reflections Five lines, eight syllabic free verse poem ☺️ Beauty of victory Journey to victory... Has began. Memories kept abay washed but not cleaned up at a shore called hope Like the star fish sticks to her lot Hung my mellowed selfless lone heart The light's up... Clarity begins Focus beams dark tunnel route up There the self's lone heart walk-on solo Trophy lie await champion's grip But then ends not pursuits of price Groans of tiredness and give-ups Noise of sore feet resounds bare road The sheep roars victory songs of joy Unannounced success of tolls from self now visible and flows deep

Social Media For You

Social media creates a platform where we chat, read, make comics, create and share information and ideas ranging from pictures, jokes, write-ups, programs etc to anything that can become binary and produced into something visual mostly within a group or an online community. The Internet: the medium of achieving this activities is in it self an all encompassing society of information and interest.   This social technological aspect of humanity is fast becoming a daily activity that cannot be unscheduled from our day to day venture. This is rather common among young people and becoming more pronounced among older people as well, who are Lovers of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, to mention few of the most popular social media platforms. The idea of these platforms, sure is to bring together and connect people and create an atmosphere of reaching out without being physically present but there is more to that.  I have discovered more for myself what other values I can obta...

Would like to share this to every woman out there. Enjoy!

Women of the Bible Ann Spangler and Jean Syswerda The Woman of Proverbs 31 Her character:  She represents the fulfillment of a life lived in wisdom. Her joy:  To be praised by her husband and children as a woman who surpasses all others. Key Scriptures:   Proverbs 31:10-31 Her Story Proverbs brims with less-than-glowing descriptions of women. There are wayward wives, prostitutes, women with smoother-than-oil lips, strange women, loud women, defiant women, wives who are like a continual drip on a rainy day or decay in their husbands' bones, women whose feet never stay home, brazen-faced women, and even a woman so repulsive she is likened to a gold ring in a pig's snout! Any woman reading Proverbs may be tempted to conclude that its authors tended to blame women for weaknesses actually rooted in the male psyche, especially when it comes to sexual sin. But to balance things out there are also some odious descriptions of men, including scoundrels, villains, chattering...

Send Malice packing!

Most of the time what matters most is the bond between two persons that makes them one. The paradoxical nature of two becoming one in physical,  reproduction,  in the spirit of togetherness and utmost unity lies in the bond that these two or more persons share. Two opposites that attracts and joins together lies in the bond that has been created,  the habit of attracting to yourself positive elements lies also in the bond you create and that which is created by that which you're in bond with and vise versa. Hence,  know what you bond yourself with and bond with it good. In here,  we would talk about bonding in family and narrow it down between the husband and wife. Here's the story of a couple. Mary and Dave are married with two beautiful kids, educated and happy with their lives. This wasn't so until they learnt the lesson of permitting Malice with them and letting go of the Spirit of togetherness, in other words the bond that exists between the duo. There...

10 Things That Matter More Than Money

Feeling guilty about not being able to afford this season's lastest-and-greatest tablet, phone, or video game console for your kids? Particularly if you're a single parent doing it all alone, you already know how important it is to manage your money wisely. So when you feel discouraged by the affluenza that surrounds you, remember this: you're giving your children the things that matter most. And they're not "things" at all. Need a reminder? Here's a list of ten things that matter more to your children than money: Love.  Your kids need your unconditional love more than anything you could ever purchase for them. Every day, your love demonstrates to your children that they're valuable and worthy of being loved -- not because of anything they've done, but just because they're your kids. And that gift is one that will impact their self-worth for their entire lives.  Time.  Kids spell love t-i-m-e. Jus...

Acts of Kindness

Acts of Kindness By Daily Dew on Sept 06, 2014 01:12 am This young man was driving home one evening, on a two lane country road. Work in this small mid-western community was almost as slow as his beat-up Pontiac, but he never quit looking. Ever since the factory closed, he’d been unemployed, and with winter coming on, the chill had finally hit home. It was a lonely road. Not very many people had a reason to be on it, unless they were leaving. Most of his friends had already left. They had families to feed and dreams to fulfill, but he stayed on. After all, this was where he buried his mother and father. He was born here and he knew the country. He could go down this road blind, and tell you what was on either side, and with his headlights not working, this came in handy. It was starting to get dark and light snow flurries were coming down. He’d better get a move on. You know, he almost didn’t see the old lady, stranded on the side of the road. But even in the dim ligh...
